About Mehrpath

Clinical care meets thoughtful product design.

The Mehrpath story

Mehrpath was founded by Mehrdad “Pejman” Talakar, a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia, and Ali Elmi, a product and engineering lead based in Brisbane, Australia. Together they build practical, bilingual education and wellness programs for the moments when understanding yourself — and each other — can make a difference.

The meaning of the name

“Mehr” is a Persian word for kindness, love and light. Mehrpath is the path of kindness — practical support delivered with warmth, for people, parents, teens and families.

Our approach

Mehrpath turns complex ideas into small, usable steps: understand what’s happening, reflect on your own patterns, and practise something different — with respect for culture, context and the different ways people learn.

Scope and limitations

Mehrpath’s programs are education and wellness resources. They are not therapy, medical care, diagnosis or treatment, and they are not a crisis service. If you are in a mental health crisis in Canada, call or text 9-8-8 at any time.
